Sanjib spent 23 years at Essar Steel’s Hazira works, rising from Graduate Engineer Trainee to General Manager and Head of Electrical & Automation for the Compact Strip Production mill. He led the Hot Strip Mill upgrade from 2.4 to 3.6 MTPA and built the electrical and automation systems of a greenfield mill with SMS Demag, ABB and Siemens.
In 2017 he co-founded Swami Integrator & Consultants LLP, a Surat solar EPC company that grew to more than 3,500 customers. Today he advises contractors, owners and lenders on solar and battery storage, from Bengaluru and Surat, and travels wherever the project is. He is also a qualified independent director, registered in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs’ Independent Directors’ Databank.
Most project delays are decided early: in the bid, in the vendor documents and in the commissioning plan.
